Associate Data Engineer
Novo Nordisk A/S · Hillerød, Denmark
- Migrated the facility's main PostgreSQL database to Databricks to create a unified data platform.
- Lead full-stack developer on two internal applications automating manual metrology processes.
- Ran mob-programming sessions to upskill colleagues in software development.
- Simplified highly complex CAD models to cut computational load in digital-twin simulations.

Case studies
One platform instead of three
- Problem
- Facility data lived in an ageing PostgreSQL database, Palantir Foundry and spreadsheets. Every report meant stitching sources by hand.
- Approach
- Mapped 120 views and their consumers, rebuilt the core models as Databricks Delta tables with incremental pipelines, then ran old and new systems side by side until the numbers matched.
- Outcome
- One source of truth for the facility; report refresh from hours to minutes; legacy database retired.
Taking metrology off paper
- Problem
- Metrology engineers logged measurements manually and checked tolerances by eye.
- Approach
- Led the build of a full-stack app that ingests instrument data, validates it against CAD tolerances and produces GxP-ready records.
- Outcome
- ~70% less manual entry; audit trail by default.
Data Engineer
SoftwareOne · Søborg, Denmark
- Design and build data pipelines and platforms on Databricks and PostgreSQL.
- Build the full-stack apps on top of them in React, TypeScript and Python.
- Set up the team's AI development infrastructure, with shared development standards and context management for AI agents (Claude Code, OpenCode, Codex).
- Added AI code reviews to the CI pipelines, so the whole team ships faster.

Case studies
AI-assisted development for the whole team
- Problem
- Everyone used AI coding agents their own way. There were no shared conventions, the agents started without the project's context, and code review sat with a few people.
- Approach
- Wrote the team's development standards, set up context management so Claude Code, OpenCode and Codex start from the same project knowledge, and added AI code reviews to the CI pipelines.
- Outcome
- The agents follow the team's conventions from the first prompt, every change gets an AI review in CI, and the whole team ships faster ([TBD] metric).

Board games
A good excuse to put the phones away and sit down with friends. A small but growing collection; favourites are Settlers of Catan, Risk, Hint and Wingspan.
Chess
My grandpa taught me the basics; friends got me hooked in high school. Nowadays mostly puzzles, with a puzzle rating around 3000 on chess.com.
Disc golf
Friends introduced me to it, and although it's a slightly odd sport, I keep playing more. A small, growing disc collection and a round at least once a week.
Exercise
Not a gym fanatic, but I know it matters. At least one gym session a week, plus daily walks or runs to stay active.
Food
I love exploring local cuisines when I travel. I rarely find time to cook properly, but when I do put in the effort, the result is a decent meal.
Music
Started on guitar at the end of primary school and picked up piano and ukulele along the way. Not a virtuoso, but I enjoy playing and singing for myself.
Poker & card magic
As a kid I was obsessed with card tricks and spent hours on sleight of hand. The magic has retired, the love of cards hasn't; Texas Hold'em is a favourite.
Audiobooks
Fantasy fan who never clicked with paper books, so audiobooks on walks and chores. Favourites are Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn and Stormlight Archive.
Video games
From the original Game Boy to a PC I built myself. Less time for it now, but all-time favourites are Sly Cooper, Minecraft, TF2, The Witcher 3 and CS.
